Tall and built with a powerful frame that holds over three hundred pounds of muscle with ease, Ryker James is an intimidating man. A former collegiate football player, his athleticism is easily visible in the way he carries himself. That same athleticism that spurred him to success on the gridiron is the same athleticism that propelled him into professional wrestling.
What does one do when football is over but you know you have a lot left to give? For James, it was to transition into boxing, mixed martial arts, and jujitsu. It was to train to be a fighter, to be tougher, to be able to mentally overcome any obstacle that might stand in your path. It was a short leap for James when the world of professional wrestling came calling in 2016. The pay checks and cheers lured him into the squared circle.
Since then, Ryker James has run roughshod over his competition both inside and outside of the ring. He has quickly become a dominant force in King of Sports, sparking the ire and jealously of KOS original Kristopher Haiden and Hart International. Haiden, always plotting one step ahead it seems, has baited, taunted, and jumped James at every opportunity.
Ryker James is not a man that takes insult and taunting lightly. Investing in his community, he has led children’s programs to help troubled youth with anger issues. He proudly wears his motorcycle jacket to the ring displaying the patches in support of various public service groups. James is more than a fighter, more than a wrestler, he represents all the working men and women that give back to their community.
As Haiden chases the paychecks of Hart International and the Texas Strong Style Championship, Ryker James fights for more. James demands respect, demands attention, and demands the Texas Strong Style title belt!
